The Bill of Rights under seige

The Second amendment is under attack on a daily basis. It was not designed to give hunters the right to hunt. It was to give us the citizen the means to protect our rights from others which include the government, and mobs. Assault weapons do have a purpose if your life is threatened by a number of people at the same time. They do serve a purpose if the day ever comes when our Life, Liberty, or property is attacked by any person or group foreign or domestic.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1u0Byq5Qis&feature=player_embedded The bad guys will always have weapons because they don’t follow the law. You can’t stop acts of violence with laws that are only followed by law-abiding citizens. You can’t protect your rights from Tyranny if you allow the right to bear arms to be taken away or diminished.
President Obama said “I also believe that a lot of gun owners would agree that AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers, not in the hands of criminals,” Obama said. “That they belong on the battlefield of war, not on the streets of our cities.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixZKI9jS_yY&feature=player_embedded I don’t agree with Obama! Chicago is probably the most progressive liberal city in the U.S. Think about the crime with guns that are not allowed in Chicago. What is the murder rate? Do you think a flash mob would attack people if there was concealed and or open carry?
The second amendment is guaranteed by the Constitution which progressive Democrats no longer believe. They want to sign arms treaties that limit our Constitutional rights. http://www.foxnews.com/topics/us/second-amendment.htm
Freedom of press is a right guaranteed by the Constitution. I don’t see any 3 day wait period before a story can be written that Malines the reputation of people and groups. I don’t see a call for banning reporters that attack individuals using their family as pawns. I don’t see a call for the ban of comedians that are the ak47’s of the progressive Democrats. The Freedom of press should be treated the same as the right to bear arms, since both are guaranteed by the Constitution. Just think of all the attacks by progressives on these Federally protected rights clearly written in our constitution. The 10th amendment is totally ignored by Obama who is getting away with it. The 2nd is under daily attack. The 1st, 4th, 5th and 8th are perverted against enemies of the progressive movement which violates the 9th.

Hands off our Health Care rally a success

Saturday Morning the” Hands off our Health Care Rally” Successfully took place at Lockport H.S. The 300 plus people in attendance heard Speakers: Steve Balich, David From, Dr. Barbrara Bellar, Mark Batinick, Tim Kraudlidis, Dan Proft, speak out against the “Affordable Health Care Act” which is really the largest tax in American history. The Event was hosted by Americans for Prosperity and the Will County Tea Party Alliance.
The message was loud and clear. The American People and 26 States do not want this health tax which will affect the lives of everyone in the U.S. The present system needs some reform, but it is the best system in the world. People in countries with socialized medicine come here for treatment if they have the money because they have to wait weeks in their country for the free medicine, and often times they do not qualify. The 3000 pages still have to be read by most Congressman who exempted themselves from the nightmare. Many of the items in the act have nothing to do with health.
Sue Kleffman from Lockport H.S. was great to work with as was the maintenance crew. We thank them very much for helping us make the event go so well. Debbie K. and the Freedom Band did a fantastic job as ususal. The video of the event can be found at http://web.mail.comcast.net/zimbra/mail?app=mail#1.

The $64,000 Question: How Much Has Debt Increased Per Taxpayer Under Obama?
By Terence P. Jeffrey

(CNSNews.com) – The national debt has now increased by more than $64,000 per federal taxpayer since Barack Obama was inaugurated president.
At the close of business on Jan. 20, 2009, according to the U.S. Treasury, the total debt of the federal government was $10,626,877,048,913.08. By the close of business on July 10, 2012, that debt had climbed to $15,885,854,755,351.47—an increase of $5,258,977,706,438.39.
In “Statistics of Income—2009 Individual Income Tax Returns,” which was published this year and is the Internal Revenue Service’s most recent statistical report on individual income tax data, the IRS reported that there were 81,890,189 tax returns filed in 2009 that reported taxable income.
If each of these 81,890,189 federal taxpayers were given responsibility for paying off an equal share of the new federal debt added since Obama was inaugurated, they would each need to pay about $64,219.88.
If each of these 81,890,189 federal taxpayers were given responsibility for paying off an equal share of the entire federal debt of $15,885,854,755,351.47, they would each need to pay about $193,989.72
A Republican majority was elected to the House of Representatives in November 2010 and took office in January 2011. Because the previous Congress had passed a continuing resolution that kept the federal government funded until March 4, 2011, the Republican-majority House did not gain legislative responsibility over federal spending until that date. Article 1, Section 9, Clause 7 of the Constitution says: “No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law.” A law appropriating money cannot be enacted unless it is approved by the House.
Since the Republican-majority in the House effectively gained its constitutional veto over federal spending, the federal government has been funded under a series of spending deals negotiated between the House Republican leadership, the Senate Democratic leadership and President Obama.
At the close of business on March 4, 2011, when the first spending deal approved by the Republican House leaders took effect, the total debt of the federal government was $14,182,627,184,881.03. Since then, it has increased by $1,703,227,570,470.44.
That $1,703,227,570,470.44 increase in the debt while the Republican-majority House had responsibility for spending bills equals $20,798.92 for each of the 81,890,189 taxpayers who paid federal taxes in 2009.
The median household income in the United States in 2009, according to the Census Bureau, was $49,777. That means the median household would have needed to work all of one year and then the first 106 days of another year and then give all of their earnings from that time period to the federal government just to pay off the $64,219.88 in new federal debt per taxpayer piled up since Obama’s inauguration.
To pay off the federal government’s total debt of $193,989.72 per taxpayer, the median household making $49,777 in 2009 would need to give the government all of its earnings for a period of almost four years (3.897 years).

The affordable Health Care Tax is the worst of Obama’s Intolerable Acts

Join Americans for Prosperity and the Will County Tea Party Alliance in our battle to rid us of this bad legislation

Since 2009, Americans for Prosperity activists have been leading the fight against Obamacare and sending the clear message- “Hands Off My Health care!” Just a few months ago we held a massive rally in front of the Capitol to make sure Congress knew we demanded full repeal, as featured in the picture below.https://www.kintera.com/accounttempfiles/account403070/images/homhcdc_rally.jpg

Now, in the wake of the SCOTUS ruling, it is again up to freedom-loving people to fight for our liberty and resist government-run healthcare by demanding repeal of this bad policy.
Join WLS radio host Dan Proft, Cong. Joe Walsh, other conservative leaders and hundreds of activists on Saturday, July 21 at a nearby rally to send the clear message to Washington, DC – “Hands Off My Health care. Make your voice heard and tell President Obama that handing over health care decisions to Washington bureaucrats is not the way to control health care costs or improve the quality of our health care.

A Senior friend sent me proof of the Obama tax on our Health

MEDICARE
Look clearly at the 2014 rate compared to the 2013 rate.

For those of you who are on Medicare, read the following. It’s short, but
important and you probably haven’t heard about it in the Mainstream News:

“The per person Medicare Insurance Premium will increase from the present
Monthly Fee of $96.40, rising to:

$104.20 in 2012

$120.20 in 2013

And

$247.00 in 2014.”

These are Provisions incorporated in the Obamacare Legislation, purposely
delayed so as not to confuse the 2012 Re-Election Campaigns. Send this to
all Seniors that you know, so they will know who’s throwing them under the
bus.
