American Security at Risk due to loss of everything traditionally American

American Security at Risk due to loss of everything traditionally American

By Steve Balich 1/7/2016

When looking at our National Security, there is much more involved than foreign policy problems that our weak liberal President isn’t attempting to solve in a manner positive to the United States which he perceives as the problem. He apologizes and gives in. His negotiating team gave our enemy Iran billions, and the ability to get the bomb with nothing in return. They burned our flag and cried out death to America in their annual Holiday Celebration of the American hostage taking under Jimmy Carter.

Don’t forget we negotiated to get back a traitor Bowe Bergdahl and left prisoners there in the current Iran deal. Remember Obama & Hillary’s Benghazi lies and emails. How about “Fast and Furious” when Obama gave guns that killed a border Patrol agent to the Mexican Cartel’s. There is so much more on foreign policy.

Let’s talk about the number one security issue “Illegal Immigration, and Refugees” which Obama and the Democrat party want to allow. Obama & Hilary see these people as a new voting block, and useful in bringing America into socialism. Working citizens see this as more welfare and a physical threat since we don’t know who is coming in. Radical Islamic Terrorist, MS-13 gang members, and drug cartel affiliates blend in with the group. These people bring with them disease costing citizens for their own medical care as well as well as the immigrant or refugee. These immigrants have no intention of assimilating into our culture which was the traditional way people entered our country. Citizens looking for work now have more competition, unions have more scabs, and American owned companies find it harder to compete for jobs.

Europe is being taken over without a war by Muslim Refugees. The European citizens are now the victims yet their leaders don’t seem to care.

Swedish people rebel against government forcing refugees on them. Government all over the world trying to take control of the people.

Obamacare is a tax, “the law that allows it is a tax”. This takes more spending power away from families, making it harder to make ends meet with declining incomes. Obamacare incentivizes companies to put employees on part time to avoid the tax and has huge deductibles. Health care costs have increased so much that companies won’t hire new people. People were lied to by Obama and Hilary when they said you can keep your doctor and the cost per family will drop $2500.
Think of funding a private group with your tax dollars to sell aborted baby parts. A moral outrage!!! The next question is where government thinks it is ok to use tax dollars to fund any private entity.

I would rather pick the charity I give to and take the write off on my taxes.

We give foreign countries who hate us foreign aid. Are we nuts! For every dollar we spend we borrow 46 cents. So we borrow money we can’t pay back to give to people that hate us in hope they may someday like us. Would you borrow $100 from the bank knowing you need to pay back $146 and give the $100 to your next door neighbor who is mad at you for something? That is a good description of the debt ceiling. We borrow money to spend more on expanding government at a future cost to generations to come. Spending is out of control on wants not needs.

Political correctness is causing a security risk also. When today’s college age young adults say word hurt and they need safe zones from hurtful speech there is a huge problem.

When a transgender man is allowed to use high school female locker rooms and bathrooms, we are shredding morality. When slandering Christians is good, but saying anything against Muslims is taboo we are breaking down our traditional cultural values. When society accepts abortion and euthanasia as the norm the value of life is taken down the path where life and death loose importance. When young people have no hope because of all these societal problems, drugs seem to be a good escape mechanism. “Murder, rape, stealing” the direction of a society with no principals, no clear right or wrong, no God and only self- gratification.

We won’t ever get back the traditional values and culture of the 1950’s but the farther away we go into the debts of Political Correctness the more the security of our Nation will fade into the abyss created by this false philosophy. Obama said he will transform America and he has been successful. In 7 years he has come very close to destroying American culture, making us morally, spiritually, and economically bankrupt. Candidates from the Democrat Party for President are socialist. Establishment Republicans do nothing and say a lot.

The media and establishment Republicans condemn Trump and Cruz because they will most likely stand against anything that hurts the security of the United States. ( Paul Ryan called the Omibus Bill a “Crap Sandwich” yet pushed its passage. Remember the Establishment Republicans with the Democrats passed this crap sandwich.

So in defining national security we need to look at every issue, every relationship, and every penny we spend. To fix it; we need to put America first and our Citizens first. We need to re- establish American traditions, institutions, make assimilation a must with immigration, reduce the size, cost, and scope of government, and most importantly re-connect to “Faith” in God and Country.

Idaho governor signs emergency legislation nullifying all future federal gun laws

BOISE, March 21, 2014 – On Thursday, Idaho Governor Butch Otter (R) signed a bill, which would effectively nullify future federal gun laws, by prohibiting state enforcement of any future federal act relating to personal firearms, a firearm accessories or ammunition.

S1332 passed the house by a vote of 68-0 and the senate by a vote of 34-0. Alaska and Kansas have also passed similar laws.

Erich Pratt, Director of Communications for Gun Owners of America, cheered the governor’s action. “By signing this nullification bill into law, Idaho has joined an elite class of states that are telling the feds to ‘get lost’ — especially when it comes to unconstitutional gun control infringements”

Introduced by the State Affairs Committee, the Idaho Federal Firearm, Magazine and Register Ban Enforcement Act, will:

“PROTECT IDAHO LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS FROM BEING DIRECTED, THROUGH FEDERAL EXECUTIVE ORDERS, AGENCY ORDERS, STATUTES, LAWS, RULES, OR REGULATIONS ENACTED OR PROMULGATED ON OR AFTER THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ACT, TO VIOLATE THEIR OATH OF OFFICE AND IDAHO CITIZENS’ RIGHTS UNDER SECTION 11, ARTICLE I, OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO.”

The legislation continued:

ANY OFFICIAL, AGENT OR EMPLOYEE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO OR A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION THEREOF WHO KNOWINGLY AND WILLFULLY ORDERS AN OFFICIAL, AGENT OR EMPLOYEE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO OR A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE TO ENFORCE ANY EXECUTIVE ORDER, AGENCY ORDER, LAW, RULE OR REGULATION OF THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (2) OF THIS SECTION UPON A PERSONAL FIREARM, A FIREARM ACCESSORY OR AMMUNITION SHALL, ON A FIRST VIOLATION, BE LIABLE FOR A CIVIL PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000) WHICH SHALL BE PAID INTO THE GENERAL FUND OF THE STATE…

S1332 also includes an emergency provision meaning it takes effect immediately upon signature.

Tenth Amendment Center national communications director Mike Maharrey considered the legislation a good start. “This is an important first step for Idaho,” he said. “Getting this law passed will ensure that any new plans or executive orders that might be coming our way will not be enforced in Idaho. Then, once this method is established and shown to be effective, legislators can circle back and start doing the same for federal gun control already on the books. SB1332 is an important building block for protecting the 2nd Amendment in Idaho.”

Passage into law represents a giant step forward in protecting the right to keep and bear arms in Idaho. As the law now stands, state and local law enforcement will not cooperate with all future federal firearm laws.

The bill rests on a well-established legal principle known as the anti-commandeering doctrine. Simply put, the federal government cannot force states to help implement or enforce and federal act or program The anti-commandeering doctrine rests primarily on four Supreme Court cases dating back to 1842. Printz v. United States serves as the cornerstone.

Tenth Amendment Center executive director Michael Boldin said that the new Idaho law has opened Pandora’s box even wider.

“PEOPLE ARE BEGINNING TO REALIZE THAT THIS PRACTICE IS COMPLETELY CONSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL. IN THE NEAR FUTURE, YOU WILL SEE A WAVE OF STATES PASSING EVEN BROADER LEGISLATION TO FIGHT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON EVERYTHING RANGING FROM MORE TRADITIONALLY LIBERAL ISSUES LIKE HEMP AND MARIJUANA, TO MORE CONSERVATIVE ISSUES LIKE OBAMACARE.” BOLDIN CONTINUED, “NULLIFICATION ISN’T A LEFT VS. RIGHT ISSUE. IT DESTROYS THE FALLACY OF THE LEFT RIGHT PARADIGM AND IS THE REMEDY FOR ALL UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS.”

Ex-College of DuPage problems won’t go away

A member of the College of DuPage‘s fundraising foundation has filed a defamation lawsuit against the school’s former chairwoman and three other critics, alleging they misrepresented her business dealings with the college and wrongly accused her of receiving “pay-to-play” deals.

College of DuPage Foundation board member Carla Burkhart, whose company Herricane Graphics designed and installed signs at the Glen Ellyn campus, alleged former Chairwoman Katharine Hamilton attacked the work to further her political career. She also named Hamilton’s allies, Kirk Allen of the Edgar County Watchdogs and Adam Andrzejewski of For the Good of Illinois, in the lawsuit. She accused them of writing untrue things about her and interfering with her contract.

Edgar County Watchdogs and For the Good of Illinois are government transparency groups that have been highly critical of the school.

Claire Ball, who ran unsuccessfully for college trustee in the spring election and publicly questioned Burkhart’s dealings, also is named in suit, which was filed Dec. 31 in DuPage County court. She could not be reached for comment.

According to the lawsuit, Herricane’s business “plummeted” after the criticism, dropping to about $145,000 in gross sales revenue in 2015 from an average of more than $300,000 in the four prior years.

Burkhart’s attorney, Joshua Feagans of Geneva, said he did not know how much of the prior business was from the College of DuPage. He said Burkhart had been “told to no longer send proposals” for work at the college.

“Her reputation has been damaged,” Feagans said. “The actions perpetrated by these individuals caused direct damage to her business.”

Hamilton, who resigned in December citing personal reasons, declined comment.

Andrzejewski called the lawsuit “frivolous” and predicted it will not withstand scrutiny.

“My actions have been above reproach from the start of the COD oversight investigation,” Andrzejewski said.

Allen said he would not be “intimidated” by the lawsuit.

“We have every intention of defending our work and ensuring the people’s right to report actions of local governments are not infringed upon,” Allen said.

College records show Burkhart’s company was paid more than $600,000 for work at the college during the past four years without submitting a single competitive bid. Some of that money went to subcontractors, her attorney said.

Much of the work was made possible through a contract that references her experience as an architect, though she is not an architect. College officials previously said they were not required to bid the work because it was a professional service and they believed using a boilerplate contract for architectural work was appropriate.

In February, a DuPage County grand jury subpoenaed documents related to Burkhart’s contracts.

The College of DuPage Foundation raises money for scholarships and school programs. Burkhart has been a board member since 2012.
