H.R. McMaster Believes Susan Rice Did Nothing Wrong in Unmasking Requests

President Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster has reportedly concluded that former Obama official Susan Rice did nothing wrong by unmasking the identities of Trump transition officials in conversations with Russian officials.

Two United States intelligence officials told Bloomberg’s Eli Lake that McMaster has concluded that Rice did nothing wrong.

That assertion is at odds with Trump’s thinking, as he repeatedly raised the Rice story during speeches and media interviews.

“I think the Susan Rice thing is a massive story,” Trump said in an interview with the New York Times, suggesting that it was possible that she may have committed a crime.

On April 12, Trump used the story to defend his accusations that the Obama administration was spying and leaking on his transition team in an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo.
“When you look at Susan Rice and what’s going on and so many people are coming up to me and apologizing now,” Trump said. “They say, ‘You know, you were right when you said that.’”

When Bartiromo told Trump that Rice denied doing anything political, he dismissed it.

“Does anyone really believe that?” he said. “Nobody believes that, even the people that try to protect her in the news media.”

Donald Trump as president of the United States was humanity’s hope, or, I should say, the hope of that part of humanity aware of the danger inherent in provoking conflict between nuclear powers. For two decades, the Clinton, George W. Bush, and Obama regimes have thrown sticks, stones, and nasty words at the Russian bear. The U.S. has broken and withdrawn from security agreement after security agreement and has compounded the threat that Russia sees by conducting war games on Russia’s borders, staging a coup in Ukraine, a province of Russia for centuries, and by a continuous stream of false accusations against Russia.

The result of this irresponsible, thoughtless, and reckless policy toward Russia was the announcement a few weeks ago (ignored by the U.S. media) by the Russian high command that Russian military planners have concluded that Washington is preparing a surprise nuclear attack on Russia

This is the most alarming event of my lifetime. Now that Washington’s criminally insane have convinced Russia that Russia is in Washington’s war plans, Russia has no alternative but to prepare to strike first.

During the Cold War both sides received numerous false alarms of incoming ICBMs, but because both sides were working to reduce tensions, the alarms were disbelieved. But today with Washington having raised tensions so high, both sides are likely to believe the false alarm. The next false alarm could bring the end of life on earth, and for this there is no one to be blamed but Washington.

Trump’s emphasis on normalizing relations with Russia was a great relief to people sufficiently intelligent to understand the consequences of nuclear war. But none of these people are in Washington, the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, the military/security complex, or among the presstitutes that pass for a media in America. All of these people want to destroy Trump because he wants to make peace with Russia.

Of the 535 members of the House and Senate, 530 voted in support of a bill that violates the separation of powers and prevents President Trump from removing sanctions on Russia. As the vote is so over-whelming that it is veto proof, the White House has announced that Trump will sign the bill, thus surrendering and giving up on his goal of restoring normal relations with Russia.

The White House believes that as the bill is veto proof, all that Trump could achieve by a veto is to prove the charges that he is a Russian agent and is using his office to protect Russia, and this could easily be turned into an impeachment proceeding.

However, there are things Trump could do, and since defusing the threat that Russia sees is essential to the avoidance of war, it is imperative that Trump do everything he can to prevent the military/security complex and its servants in Congress and the media from locking America into deadly conflict with Russia.

As I wrote yesterday, Trump could take his case to the American people in a major speech and point out that Congress is violating the separation of powers, hamstringing the power of the presidency, and making it illegal for him to reduce the dangerous tensions that previous administrations have created with a major nuclear power.

Trump could also tell Congress that their law is unconstitutional and that he won’t sign or veto the bill, and if Congress persists he will take it to the Supreme Court.

Trump could also get on the telephone with the German politicians and corporate CEOs who have denounced the sanctions as illegal and intended to serve U.S. business interests at the expense of Germany. He should tell them to force Merkel to announce that Germany will not accept the sanctions. The EU leadership also denounces the sanctions. Trump, with a little effort, can organize so much European opposition that he can tell Congress that as the President of the United States he cannot permit a collection of mindless morons, which is what Congres is, to destroy Washington’s empire by driving Europeans out of it. If Trump can get the Europeans to act, he can defeat the bill, which is really nothing but Congress’ service to its political campaign contributors in the military/security complex and the U.S. energy industry.

Trump is a fighter. And this is Trump’s fight. He has everything to gain by rising to the challenge, and so do the rest of us. The entire world should get behind Trump as there is no one else to defuse the tensions that are leading to nuclear war.

I have been amazed at the stupidity and mendacity of the American liberal-progressive-left, who have fallen in line with the military/security complex’s effort to destroy Trump, because peace with Russia takes away the orchestrated enemy so essential to the budget and power of the military/security complex. Of course, America no longer has a left. The left has been displaced by Identity Politics, a Zionist creation, as Gilad Atzmon explains in his books, that is proving effective in destroying the goyim by teaching them to hate one another. In Identity Politics, everyone is the victim of white heterosexual males, whom Identity Politics defines as misogynist, racist, homophobic gun nuts—Hillary’s “Trump deplorables.” As the “deplorables” voted for Trump, the liberal-progressive-left hate Trump and are helping the military/security complex destroy him even it it means nuclear war.

As I predicted would be the case, Trump had no idea how to appoint a government that would be on his side, and obviously failed completely. He is continually contradicted by his UN ambassador, his Secretary of State, his National Security Advisor, his Secretary of Defense. Trump is alone in his government.

So, he might as well fight. Address the American people. Organize the angry Europeans. Take the fight to criminally insane Washington before the criminals destroy the world in war.

Already in the 21st century Washington has destroyed in whole or part seven countries, producing millions of refugees who, together with immigrants claiming refugee status, are altering the populations of European countries and wiping Europe off of the face of the earth.

This is Europe’s reward for being Washington’s vassal.

Trump should say to Europe: “It is time to tell Washington that you have had enough!”

If Trump doesn’t fight and is led away by the morons advising him into the camp of the ruling oligarchs, Trump, in order to perform in a leadership role will lead American wars against the world. As a war leader he will be supported by the ruling oligarchy, and the dumbshit liberal-progressives, having helped the military/security complex defeat Trump’s initiative for peace with Russia, will have not a leg to stand on.

Here is my prediction. Trump’s personality compells him to be a leader. Trump, having been defeated in his peace initiative by the military/security complex, the liberal-progressive-left, the corrupt Democrats, the corrupt Republicans, and the whores who pass for a media will regain leadership via wars and aggression against foreign enemies.

Trump has already put illegal sanctions on Venezuela, hoping to overthrow Venezuelan democracy and restore Washington’s rule through the small group of right-wing Spanish who have traditionally dominated Venezuela.

Russia and China had a chance to come to Venezuela’s aid and to prevent the coming overthrow of the democratically elected government by Washington, but both countries lacked the necessary vision. Once Washington overthrows the Venezuelan government, Washington will overthrow the government in Ecuador and have Julian Assange’s diplomatic asylum revoked. Once Assange is tortured into claiming that Wikileaks is a Russian/American organization financed by Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, Assange will be put to death, and the dumbshit Americans will cheer. Then Washington will overthrow Bolivia and have a purge conducted in Brazil against all political leaders who are not on the CIA’s payroll.

Then Washington will brand Russia and China “outlaw nations” and surrounded as they will be with U.S. nuclear missiles and ABM sites, Washington will demand surrender or destruction.

It all seems a fantasy, doesn’t it. But it is very real.

GOP lawmakers: CPS receives preferential treatment in school funding bill

GOP lawmakers: CPS receives preferential treatment in school funding bill

ILLINOIS NEWS NETWORK

At the center of the school funding argument is the preferential treatment that Gov. Bruce Rauner and Republican lawmakers say Chicago Public Schools would receive under the Democrats’ plan.

When Rauner filed his amendatory veto of the school funding formula, he said it removed much of that preferential treatment CPS would have otherwise received. He objected to suburban and downstate taxpayers bailing out Chicago’s underfunded teachers’ pension.

When asked Tuesday, House Majority Leader Barbara Flynn Currie, D-Chicago, said Chicago has long been shortchanged by the state because the city is double-billed for pensions.

“Chicago taxpayers pay for our teacher pensions but we also get to pay for the downstate teachers,” Currie said. “The downstate school districts don’t pay for their teachers.”

But suburban state Rep. Steven Reick, R-Woodstock, said the original language in Senate Bill 1 not only made the state’s annual payment to Chicago Public Schools’ pensions part of normal funding, it also allowed only Chicago to add its legacy pension debt in the formula for determining a district’s ability to fund its own schools. This made the district appear much worse off than it otherwise would, qualifying it for more state aid.

“The Chicago pension system was treated differently in SB 1 than other districts in the state,” Reick said. “It contained a provision that would provide for normal pension costs for the City of Chicago to be included within that bill, as well as using the underfunded portion of the Chicago pension system as a means for reducing Chicago’s local capacity target, taking it from Tier 2 down to Tier 1.”

Tier 1 schools, as described in the funding bill, would receive more money from the state and get it sooner than Tiers 2, 3 and 4.

Reick said the extra money that would head to Chicago school pension funds under the Democrat plan is especially insulting since CPS has been underfunding its own pensions by more than $2 billion since given control over the costs in 1995.

“The moment that the City of Chicago was given control of their own pensions, it stopped making payments into the plan,” he said. “I have a hard time telling my constituents with a straight face that it’s now our job to bail them out of what they did in the past.”

Lawmakers in the Senate have until August 16 to act on the governor’s amendatory veto of the school funding plan.

Who Defeated Health Reform

16:1 - Who Defeated Health Reform?

Three Republican senators have been the focus of all the anger over the failure of the Obamacare repeal effort, but it is time to consider a different analysis – and focus on the real opposition.

For every one Republican senator who voted “no,” there were 16 Democratic senators who voted no with them.

Ten of the Democratic senators who voted against the bill come from states that President Trump carried in the election. They are going to have to explain to their constituents why Obamacare is still the law of the land.

Meanwhile, the three Republicans who voted against the bill are not going to be defeated in their home states, so they are not going to be intimidated by outside criticism.

Republicans have a passion for going after those in their own ranks who sometimes step out of the party line, but they must resist this urge. It could cost them in 2018.

Instead, conservative activist groups and Republican super PACs should focus on the ten Democratic senators in states President Trump won who voted “no.” If we could defeat eight of these ten, then we would have more than enough votes to repeal Obamacare and pass tax cuts under reconciliation, which requires 50 votes plus the support of the Vice President. Suddenly, the one vote shortfall from last week could become a five or six vote margin of error.

It’s critical Republicans avoid the desire to force rapid and drastic change and instead consider the Constitution.

The Founding Fathers’ greatest fear was dictatorship. They believed that a sophisticated separation of powers would protect freedom. No one branch of the government could dominate and dictate.

The Founders intentionally designed our governmental machine to be so inefficient that no dictator could quickly force radical change. They succeeded so well that even now incremental change takes serious planning, hard work, and difficult negotiation.

The Senate is – and has always been – critical to avoiding dictatorship. The Founding Fathers feared the mob, and they did not want a fast, volatile process of translating current public opinion into law.

Conservatives should recognize, as President Ronald Reagan did, that the key to passing legislation is the American people.

Every Republican should read Thomas Evans’s The Education of Ronald Reagan. This small book examines Reagan’s eight years at General Electric, where he learned that if you could move the people, the politicians would follow.

The first opportunity for Republicans to practice the Reagan strategy is with the tax cut bill. Let’s write a tax cut bill that is so attractive to the American people that many Democrats feel compelled by the folks back home to vote for it.

Then, let’s continue to work toward a better health system by writing a series of understandable, not complex, bills. Each bill should be able to stand on its own and be designed to attract popular support to make it hard for Democrats to vote against.

Finally, let’s pass an infrastructure bill with the large bipartisan majorities we will have built while dealing with tax cuts and health care.

If we accomplish this, then by Christmas, we could be in a much better place.

Remember, the key is to keep the focus on the 48 Democrats in the Senate, so they either vote with us in Washington or get voted out of office back home.

That will be much more productive than shouting at ourselves and complaining about our own team.

Newt

ISRA (Illinois State Rifle Association) Thursday Bulletin – August 3, 2017

Letterhead

ISRA Thursday Bulletin – August 3, 2017

Executive Directors Message

Concealed Carry permits in the United States have risen to 16.3 million. This number does not count people who live in constitutional carry states or open carry states. How many of those folks are out there is anybody’s guess, but you don’t have to hold a PHD in statistics to figure out that it’s a bunch. In the last 12 months alone, the number of permits grew by 1.83 million; that is more than 5000 a day. It is important to note that the number of permits have never gone down, they just keep growing.

For those people who are stuck in “may issue” states, hope is on the way. For those who don’t know how a “may issue” permit works, some holier-than-thou bureaucrat decides whether you should be issued a concealed carry permit, even if you otherwise qualify. Washington DC is one of those places. In Washington DC, you have to have a “good reason” to get a concealed carry permit, including those people who have been threatened with death or repeatedly attacked. Getting a permit in “may issue” states is nearly impossible. For example, in recent years, the state of Hawaii issues one permit.

The Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) sued in the Wrenn v. District of Columbia and the “good reason” law has been struck down by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. As Alan M. Gottlieb, Executive Vice President or the SAF put it, “Today’s ruling contains some powerful language that affirms what we have argued for years, that requiring a so-called ‘good cause’ to exercise a constitutionally-protected right does not pass the legal smell test.” Good job SAF!

Despite the increase in concealed carry licenses throughout the country, the anti-self-defense crowd is increasing their attacks on concealed carry and lawfully armed citizens. They are will funded, noisy and resolute in their mission. I would remind everyone that in 1917 the Bolsheviks only made up a small percentage of the Russian population but were able to bring down the government. We have too many gun owners and concealed carry permit holders who are sitting on their duff letting someone else carry the burden of protecting their rights. It is time for those folks to join or rejoin state and national gun rights organizations and start helping. I would suggest the Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA).Click here.

Here is why you should join the ISRA: The Illinois State Rifle Association and the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) are supporting a lawsuit against Cook County to nullify their so-called “assault weapons ban”. ISRA Attorney David Sigale represents plaintiffs Mathew D. Wilson and Troy Edhlund in this suit. Law abiding citizens are always the targets of such laws, despite what the anti-gun side claims. They use the ruse of crime control as the Trojan Horse to attack the Second Amendment.

August has arrived and, with it, the first of the hunting seasons – squirrel. The Red Moon of August foretells the other seasons to come in short order, upland game, waterfowl, turkey and deer. There are sales on hunting equipment, firearms and ammunition. This year the prices are better than in recent years, particularly on ammunition. There is a lot more to preparing for hunting season than buying the latest gizmo that Daniel Boone somehow survived without having. Most hunters do not spend enough time shooting their gun and do not use it far enough in advance so that if there is a problem it can remedied long before opening day.

This year the ISRA will hold its annual Sighting-in-Day at the ISRA Range on October 7, from 9:30am until 3:30pm. We can accommodate rifles, pistols, shotguns and muzzleloaders. We will have a patterning board for those who want to test different shot shells for their shotgun, and people there to help you do so.

Each year people show up with one type of ammunition to sight in the gun and another type to actually hunt with. It does not work that way. Different ammunition will have a different point of impact. I have found deer slugs are particularly susceptible to this phenomenon. All ammunition is produced in lots. A lot number will be on the box most often on one of the end flaps of the box; you should buy the same lot number, if at all possible. Different lots of the same brand and type of ammunition often have a different point of impact. One question we always get is, “How much ammunition should I buy?” That answer is at least 50 rounds. Here is why: Sighting-in-Day exposes lots of interesting things. We have seen sights fall off, loose scope mounts, wrong ammunition, crosshairs break inside the scope, magazines that won’t work and just any number of things that couldn’t possibly go wrong, but do. Whenever you start over, you use more ammunition. It is better to find things out at Sighting-in-Day rather than on Opening Day. It is also better to buy your ammunition early, when the selection is better. If you are near the ISRA Range, come on out. The charge is $10.00 per firearm, much cheaper than a ruined hunting trip.
