What would it be like to have a civilian army controlled by the president

What would it be like to have a civilian army controlled by the president, having nothing to do with our military structure? It is very thought provoking as far as what can be implemented against the American People.
A few years ago Obama called for a civilian army which of course would be under the authority of the President. Patriots immediately thought of the”Brown Shirts” in Germany under Hitler. There were videos and numerous articles, a genuine outrage, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vxJD3az3nk). Then as a good student of Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky the Obama Regime went on to a new attack on the traditional American way of life. We have not heard anything since, but inside the Health Care bill, hidden in the mountain of paper, is funding for the new army called “Ready Reserve Corp” (http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=132001) sec.203 public health service act Ready reserve. There was no talk about this funding that has nothing to do with health. The Obama Regime has so overwhelmed the country with negative change that it is extremely difficult to keep up with what he is doing to us now and will continue to do if elected. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htw7shWR3oU
Following “Rules for Radicals” which teaches to attack, back off, Strike again, sneak in a law or regulation. We need to keep our eyes open and follow where this civilian army is headed. We don’t need to wake up one morning with an American Gestapo. Remember the Regime is for taking away the guns(second Amendment), limiting free speech and the right of assembly (first Amendment), Obamacare is currently law despite suit by States (10thAmendment), Interpreting the 14thAmendment so that the Obama Regime can justify the “Dream Act” and “Anchor Babies”, Cap and Trade is a way for the tyranny of the Government to take outrageous amounts of money from the taxpayers in the name of global warming. Stimulus or printing of money devalues our money and assaults our savings. Freedom of Religion is now under attack by the regime forcing Christian religious beliefs to take a backseat to what the government wants. I can go on and on pointing out the attack on the Constitution and traditional America. We need to remain vigilant standing against the socialist ideology pushed by the Obama regime.

The bumpy road choice

I need to understand the shortsightedness of those that support the concept of spreading the wealth, giving more bailout stimulus money to the bankers, and being a laid off union worker from the private sector; supporting the failed ideology that is moving America from a prosperous country to a place that will resemble Spain, Greece, or Venezuela. Our National Debt is now over $16, 000,000,000. Obama has spent more money than every president before him combined. That in itself is a disgrace, but through executive order he is ignoring the Constitution and dismantling the very fabric of our precious country as we know it.

The Concept of Socialism or spreading the wealth is not a new one. It appeals to emotion, but is completely flawed, and has never worked. Using of the inheritance tax as the ultimate example of taking earnings from one family to give to the Government for the benefit of all the families in the country. Socialist feel that wealth earned by any individual should be shared with everyone, but at death the wealth should belong to everyone. They don’t feel families should inherit wealth that they did not personally own, even if they contributed to building the wealth directly or indirectly. In real life your wealth is yours, you don’t want to give it away, and when you die you don’t want to be forced to give it to any person or government. Your last item you have any control over at your death is where your wealth will go. Warren Buffet, talks about taxing the rich while he is in a law suit with the IRS for not paying the taxes he is legally obligated to. We have the highest corporate tax in the world, so business moves to foreign country’s to avoid the tax. People in Blue, Democrat controlled states like Illinois are moving to states with more favorable tax codes.

The outrageous spending which causes the United States to borrow 40 cents for every dollar spent is a symptom of bad government, and elected officials that don’t understand the concept of balanced budget. Any official that votes to spend more money than is coming in should be chastised by the people. Blame as to how we got here goes back to the first elected body that borrowed more than could be paid back. Just paying the minimum amount on your credit card increases the principal. Eventually the principal increases so much, the minimum balance becomes unaffordable. The government at that point prints more money which makes all the money in circulation worth less. This is actually a tax because the government is taking more of our wealth. Our money is devalued with each stimulus. Funny those bankers get the stimulus money. It would be cheaper and more productive to give every taxpayer a stimulus of $ 100,000 that would have to be spent with proof, on any bills, debt, or purchases. Just think of the boost to our dying economy. Socialism preaches spreading the wealth, but in practice the spreading is to a select few, the elite who fund the election campaigns for those they expect Quid Pro Quo.

Just ask a carpenter or electrician how many people are laid off waiting for a call from the union hall, and looking on their own for almost non-existent work. Chicago is a “Sanctuary City” meaning there is no enforcement of immigration laws. This results in taxpayers picking up the bill for social services, education, medical, and criminal justice just to name some of the costs pushing up taxes on all citizens. These illegal’s work for less money and are not in a union. They scab union workers jobs, and often form non-union companies that take union work. 80% of the dues of union workers go to support Democrat Candidates that support keeping Chicago, and the State of Illinois as a safe haven for illegal’s. Now the situation with public sector unions is worse. The Candidates supported by the union are the ones that vote on pay and pension increases for the union at the expense of taxpayers. Public Sector Employees rarely get laid off, get higher wages than their counter parts in the private sector, and receive a pension that is unsustainable paid by taxpayers. Public employees retire with 70 to 80 percent of their last yearly salary. They are allowed to save up and take sick days, personal tine, vacation time, and comp time when they retire pushing their pension even higher. Teachers typically get raises beginning 2 years before they retire adding even more to the taxpayer’s bill.

We are heading down a bumpy road that ends with a cliff. We can change direction and the road will be bumpy but eventually it will be smooth and there is no cliff at the end.

Homer Glen, Lockport, New Lenox, and the unincorporated areas of County Board District 7 are experiencing general distrust of the people they elect to represent them. There is loss of jobs or income, foreclosures, and general economic hardships that are often made worse by government. Our people and businesses are over taxed, over regulated, and forced to comply with new laws, taxes, and fees. The people feel helpless in stopping unnecessary spending. The question is how high do taxes go before you have to move? The City of Chicago and Cook County treat Will County as a Colony that owes tribute which is taken in the form of taxes, and removal of representation in the very government that represents us. Every time you spend $10 in Will County 19 cents goes to the Chicago Transit Authority. District 7 Congressional Representatives are from the Chicago Democrat Machine: Bobby Rush, Dan Lipinski, and Jesse Jackson Jr. The Chicago machine wants Will County to pay for their failed policies, and seem to be getting away with it.

When serving on the County Board I will vote against any spending that is not absolutely necessary. I will speak loudly to cutting spending wherever possible. I will advocate for less restrictive regulations, elimination of permitting and rules that are excessive and a hindrance to residents and business. I will help residents and business with their battles with State and Federal Agencies. Fighting against raised medians on 159th Street is an example where IDOT wants what is not in the best interest of anyone except the developers that will build it. The Fire Dept. is against it for safety reasons. Business is against it because it will cause them to lose customers. I would bring the fight to JACAR, the group of elected people that oversee IDOT. I would try to find a way to stop paying any Taxes that support other counties. I would like to find a way to tax Chicago/ Cook County. Chicago needs to understand we refuse to stand by any longer supporting unsustainable Chicago Transit Authority pensions, failed Chicago public schools where the cost per Child is $25,000, and projects that are overpriced benefiting Chicago political allies.

I will fight for our people. I am not afraid to find ways to stop Chicago/ Cook County in their tracks. I wrote the Resolution in Homer Township making English the official language, saying we want existing immigration laws enforced, and that we want our schools to verify residency. I brought the Resolution to the Board in 2007 saying Homer Township does not believe in using Eminent Domain to take private property to benefit another private entity. I went to all the school districts and the city of Lockport last December asking them not to raise property taxes. I will be a tax watch dog! I understand my votes affect my family, friends, and everyone in Will County. I recognize a community will bring in new commercial development in an effort to lower the tax burden on its residents. But this effort is defeated when taxing bodies raise their taxes to capture the new growth.
