UN can’t ‘nullify’ anything

UN can’t ‘nullify’ anything

If there was ever a demonstration of the fecklessness of an international body, the United Nations’ 128-9 vote to demand the United States rescind its declaration to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem is it. Or as the AP framed it, the UN “nullified” the U.S. decision.

The area that encompasses what is now known as modern-day Israel and Palestine was controlled by Great Britain after it defeated the Ottoman Empire in World War I. In 1917, the British government issued the Balfour Declaration, announcing its intent to spur the “establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.” In 1922 the League of Nations – the failed forerunner to the United Nations – gave Great Britain a mandate over Palestine.  This mandate granted Britain the authority to call for the establishment of a Jewish homeland and encourage Jewish immigration and Jewish settlement.

Over the ensuing 20+ years, sporadic fighting and attacks occurred between the Arabs who opposed the Jewish immigration and Jewish immigrants. Following World War II, Great Britain passed the Palestine problem to the United Nations, which recommended the partition of Palestine into two states: one Jewish and one Arab. The Jews accepted the resolution but the Arabs rejected it.

The modern nation-state of Israel came about on May 14, 1948 when the Zionist leadership, using UN Resolution 181 as a pretext, declared the existence of the state of Israel even though R. 181 did not grant it that authority. The U.S. and Russia recognized Israel the next day.

The years of bloodshed and thousands dead both in Israel and across the world from Arab terrorism are directly attributable to the UN’s fecklessness and meddling by world powers.

The UN is a globalist institution that is anti-American to its core. Its mission is what I call Third Worldism – the idea that if underdeveloped nations are provided with the wealth of the industrial nations, all will prosper. One of the objectives of global democracy is to redistribute the wealth of the world in just this fashion, making all people everywhere absolutely equal. They want to distribute your wealth, not the wealth of the ruling oligarchy.

We once knew this universal politico-religious strategy as Marxism and international communism. Thanks to the rule of the two George Bushes, we now call it international democracy.

Worse, the UN demonstrates its lack of moral authority by pulling stunts like naming countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran to head its so-called “civil rights commissions.”

The Trump decision to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem was not done for strategic reasons but as sop to the Zionists who control America’s foreign policy. But the U.S. has the authority to place its embassies in any cities that the host countries allow.

So 128 countries voted to demand the U.S. rescind its declaration. What of it? That vote is as meaningless as the dozens of resolutions passed to sanction Iraq in the run-up to both the Bushes’ Gulf Wars, and as meaningless as UN sanctions on North Korea today.

Countries will act in what they believe is their best interests. Those 128 countries voting against the U.S. certainly did. So the U.S. should act in its best interests and boot the UN out of New York and remove itself from the global club. And it should withhold all foreign aid to the 128 countries which voted against the resolution, and the 35 that abstained.

The countries that voted with the U.S. were Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau and Togo.
